Access Alert Settings
Log in to CFFC online banking or the C&F Bank mobile app. Navigate to Settings, then select Alerts (or Notifications on mobile). You will see a list of all your accounts with alert configuration options for each. Select the account you want to configure first. If you have multiple accounts, you will set up alerts for each one independently, allowing different thresholds and delivery preferences per account.
Choose Alert Types and Thresholds
For each account, toggle on the alert categories you want: balance, transaction, security, payment and account. For alerts that use thresholds (like low balance or large transaction), enter your preferred amount. For example, set a low balance alert at $200 for your checking account and a large transaction alert at $500. The system previews what each alert will look like before you save.
