"Invalid Username or Password" Error
Both username and password are case-sensitive. Verify your Caps Lock key is off. If you recently changed your password, ensure you are using the new one. Try the Forgot Password link on the C&F Bank login page to reset. If you have never enrolled in online banking, you need to set up credentials first — visit a branch or call 804-843-2360 to enrol in CFFC online banking.
"MFA Code Expired" Error
One-time verification codes are valid for 5 minutes. If you did not enter the code within that window, click "Resend Code" on the MFA screen. Check your SMS messages or email spam folder. If using an authenticator app, verify your device clock is synchronised (authenticator codes are time-based). Inaccurate device time is the most common cause of authenticator code failures.
